Jim Thome: He was pulled in today’s game in the 6th inning with a mild quadriceps strain. Stay tuned for more info.

Francisco Liriano: He had Dr. Lewis Yocumand and Dr. James Andrews look over his recent MRI and they assured him it is nothing more than inflammation and tendentious in his throwing shoulder. Liriano also said his arm has been bothering him off and on all season and he hopes he will be able to come back much stronger after returning from the DL.

Tsuyoshi Nishioka: Played 7 innings on Monday in an extended spring training game and had a full workout on Tuesday with no issues. He will play another 7 innings today and tomorrow. Looks to me like he will return from the DL when he is eligible in a couple weeks.

Jason Kubel: Says he felt better walking around on Tuesday and hopes to return to the line-up soon.

Glen Perkins: He is close to throwing off a mound and hopes to return when he is eligible on Monday.

Joe Mauer: He is expected to play 4 innings at catcher in an extended spring training game tomorrow. His legs have been feeling better but he has been set back by a sore throwing arm. This will be his first game catching since April 12th.
