Only days after UMD Men’s hockey Head Coach Scott Sandelin agrees to an extension,  Assistant Coach Brett Larson is heading out of Duluth.

Larson will be taking over as the Head Coach and General Manager or the United States Hockey League’s (USHL) Souix City Muskateers and will be offically announced this afternoon.  Larson was an assistant coach for the last 3 years, and was part of this year’s National Championship team.  Larson played professional for 11 years, and before that played for the bulldogs for 4 years.
