No comment by Limbaugh equals big news

Radio slime ball, Rush Limbaugh, is getting a lot of headlines simply for dodging a question. Former Minnesota Governor, Presidential Candidate, and Viking hater Tim Pawlenty did a recent interview with Limbaugh and suggested that Rush was going to be the next owner of the Vikings and then move them. Here is a transcript from Limbaugh’s website:

Limbaugh: I know you’re not in the statehouse any longer, but there’s an issue roiling the state right now and that’s the Vikings and their new stadium and how much of it should be publicly financed. The usual threats are being made: If the public doesn’t chip in and build a new stadium the Vikings are gone. They’ll move to L.A. or someplace.

Pawlenty: The rumor is you’re gonna buy ’em and move ’em. Is that true?

Limbaugh: (laughing) Well, uh, this interview is about you. (laughing)

This is what caused all the uproar. Not much to it and let me say that Limbaugh has zero chance of being approved by the owners to buy our favorite team. He is noted by many by his racist statements made towards Donovan McNabb.

  • For anyone disagreeing with me calling Pawlenty a Viking hater this was more out of frustration than actual fact. He spent his last year or year and a half as our Governor posturing for presidency and refused to address the stadium issue head on because he was worried about a divide in support for him. This has led to us being behind on the current stadium plan and now have to hope for a special session call by Mark Dayton.
