Justin Morneau (Sore Wrist): He had an MRI on his wrist that showed some fluid but no structural damage. Morneau sat out Saturday and Sunday’s game and will be re-evaluated by the team doctor. Morneau hopes to have a cortisone shot on Sunday and use the off-day on Monday to recover so he doesn’t miss any time.

Tsuyoshi Nishioka (fractured left fibula): He joined AAA Rochester to play in a few games there against tougher competition and should return later this week. His first game in AAA is expected to be Sunday.

Joe Mauer (Leg Weakness/Arm Soreness): Mauer will catch Sunday and Monday for the Miracle and then catch or DH for the Miracle on Tuesday. He is expected to also have a live batting session against Nathan on Wednesday. His return date is still unknown.

Glen Perkins (Strained Oblique): He was scheduled to pitch one inning for AAA Rochester on Saturday. He will also pitch one inning on Monday before re-joining the Twins.

Joe Nathan (Right Flexor Muscle Strain): He will start his rehab in Fort Myers on Wednesday. He is expected to throw a live batting practice to Joe Mauer that day.
