Here is the updated injury report of all the injured Twins players. The full injury report is updated regularly and can be seen here. Feel free to bookmark it and come back to see how they are improving and when they plan to return.

Delmon Young (Sprained Right Ankle): He was put on the 15-day DL on June 25th. He sprained his ankle on the outfield wall running back for a fly ball. He will head to AAA for a rehab stint starting July 4th. He is scheduled to start at DH on the 4th. He’s likely to return right after the All-Star break.

Denard Span (Sore Neck/Dizziness): He was placed on the 7-day DL for players with concussions. He has been running and working out. He has also seen time in the batting cages. He still has some concussion symptoms but says he recovers from them more quickly now. Hopefully that’s a good sign. He is still out indefinitely.

Kevin Slowey (Abdominal Strain): He has been on the 15-day DL since May 21st. Will pitch 3 or 4 innings in Fort Myers on June 29th. He will head to AAA for a rehab stint starting July 4th. He will start for Rochester on the 4th.

Jason Kubel (Sprained Left Foot): He is on the 15-day DL. He has been rehabbing in Fort Myers but had a minor setback in a game when he tweaked his ankle running back to catch a ball. He is headed back to Minneapolis to get looked at by team doctors and may end up getting an MRI.

Justin Morneau (Strained Wrist/Neck Surgery): Was put on the 15-day DL June 14th. He had an MRI on his wrist that showed some fluid but no structural damage. On Friday or Saturday he will get the cast off. Next Wednesday he will have surgery to remove a herniated disk fragment in his neck that has been causing a pinched nerve. He is expected to be out around 6 weeks. He could return sometime in mid-August.
