This isn’t an ordinary blow either, this is a low blow. With the Government shutdown in Minnesota over and Dayton prepared to call a special session to finalize how the middle and lower class can suffer more to pay for the state’s budget problems, Dayton made it known that no Vikings’ stadium deal would be discussed. Time is of the essence when it comes to this issue and at the moment time is running out. Lester Bagley, V.P. of Public Affair and Stadium Development, said this:

“All I can tell you is that we are assessing our options,”

Short and to the point but you can see the obvious dissapointment. I think the biggest message is what are the other options? If Minnesota doesn’t act, the Vikings may find one of these options that doesn’t include the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
