During the pre-season the Vikings let go of Bryant McKinnie after he showed up to camp overweight and out of shape. Similarly the Steelers released Max Starks in the pre-season for the same reasons. Tom Pelisario of 1500 ESPN reports that the Vikings will meet with Max Starks on Monday. The Vikings picked up Charlie Johnson to fill the void at left tackle but he has struggled off and on in the first three games. Also this past week Phil Loadhold looked like he regressed from his decent performances the first two weeks. Starks had neck problems last season and had surgery on his neck last year so that is something the Vikings will have to look at as well. The Vikings surely will have more things to take care of to fix their problems so far this season but this is a start.
