UPDATE: It is official. Adelman will keep Beasley and Ellington on the bench and give Webster the starting nod. It will be interesting how this plays into Webster confidence getting his first start of the season.

Luke Ridnour did not accompany the Wolves on their trip to Orlando according to Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune. His reported absence is because of personal reasons. Not sure who will start in his place at this point. Adelman likes to have 2 good ball handlers at guard but could opt to start Martell Webster in his place. He also may decide to slide Wes Johnson to the 2 spot and have Beasley to start at the 3. Wayne Ellington is also an option. Check back and I will post updates as I find out more.

Malcom Lee Update

All this talk about who will start in Ridnour’s absence is the perfect transition to talk about Malcolm Lee. Lee has played the last 2 games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in South Dakota. Lee has since left the Skyforce and will be rejoining the Wolves soon. Unfortunately, it won’t be in Orlando to help fill in for the loss of Luke. Lee will rejoin the team Wednesday but it is unclear how much he’ll play if at all.
