The Minnesota Vikings have signed wide receiver Jerome Simpson on a 1-year deal, according to Jay Glazer. Simpson begins next year with a 3-game suspension stemming from a felony drug charge. Simpson recently visited Minnesota and the reports were positive. The hold up in the contract was most likely Simpson’s availability for next season. The terms for the deal were not announced but it is most likely going to be for a minimum salary.

Simpson still is considered an upgrade for the Vikings at wide receiver. He finished last year with 50 receptions, 725 yards and 4 touchdowns.
