We’ve talked a lot about the Vikings Stadium situation, because every week there’s a new twist, or the exact same twist that we try to make you believe is news.

Last night the annual legislative session was scheduled to end, but the powers that be have decided to extend it into May (most likely to get a stadium deal at least voted on).  It’s entirely likely that they’ll vote it down and the Vikings franchise as we know it could die, but it’s also likely that the politicians running our state will make the right choice and keep the franchise here (then another group of people will protest the Vikings being here, despite what money they bring in). I’m aware this doesn’t really sound like an update, but at least we’re finding out that we’ll find out soon (my favorite new story “there will be news later” kind of story). It appears that the drama of the Vikings stadium may soon be coming to an end.
