Kevin Love had a monster season and the voters for the All-NBA teams rewarded him by putting him on the 2nd team. It also can put to rest the notion if he is the best PF in the game today. He is, in fact, the 3rd best forward overall, at least this season. Making the 1st team seems almost impossible this year with most of the points going for the forward positions going to MVP candidates LeBron James (596) and Kevin Durant (591). Love finished 3rd with 365 points. Here is a complete list of all 3 All-NBA teams:

1st: LeBron, Durant, Dwight, Kobe, Chris Paul

2nd: Love, Griffin, Bynum, Parker, Westbrook

3rd: Melo, Dirk, Chandler, D-Wade, Rondo.

This is just an example of how loaded with talent the NBA is right now. Notable players left off the list include  D-Rose, Pierce, Aldridge, Pau and Marc Gasol, Steve Nash,  and Kevin Garnett.

This is another good sign for a hopeful Wolves team next year which also boast a All-NBA rookie 1st team and 2nd team player in Ricky Rubio and Derrick Williams. Congrats to Love on his much deserved award.
