With the 2nd overall pick in the 2012 MLB First-Year Player Draft the Twins selected 18 year old outfielder Byron Buxton from Appling County High School in Georgia. According to scouts, the 6-2 175lb right-handed Buxton is a five-tool player that most believe has the most upside of any player in the draft.
